This is the big hill behind the barn. It’s got huge larches and some walnuts, honeysuckle bushes and lots of wild carrots. It is absolutely covered with burdock and last year’s zillion burrs along with Canadian thistles. I’ve been trying to mow some of it down so the burdock and thistles can’t bloom. The problem is it’s steep and lumpy, with all kinds of hidden logs, rocks, old pieces of wood and various stuff. There are also some big animal holes. It’s taking me forever and I get covered in burrs. The tiny thistle things stick into my arms and legs. It kind of sucks. That won’t stop me though.
